After your application is complete, it will be forwarded to the Department of Biology's Graduate Committee for review. The review process typically takes 2-3 months. After a decision is made, the Office of Graduate Studies and Research has to do the final paperwork. This process can take another 1-2 weeks. Therefore, the sooner you can get your application in the better!
All application materials for the distance M.S. in Biology degree program must in the Department of Biology for review by the following dates:
| Beginning Semester | Application Due Date With the Distance Masters Degree, there are no application deadlines. You may enroll and complete up to 6 hours of classes before being formally accepted into the program. Decisions usually take about 2 months from receipt of complete applications. |
